At 7 Brew, Stephanie Quillen is building a long-term human resources strategy with an employee culture rooted in growth, capability, and care for the 12,000 corporate employees in 34 states and growing.
“I set up strategy for how we hire, develop, lead, support all of the folks that make this company run and do it in a way that’s meaningful and impactful for people’s careers,” she said.”
From Radcliffe, Iowa, Quillen graduated with honors in psychology from Simpson College in 2010 and earned a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2013. She joined Walmart that year and had various senior human resources roles supporting the selection, development, assessment and talent acquisition within Walmart Global.
In 2018 she joined Tyson Foods and had several senior roles crafting human resources strategy, becoming chief of staff for the chief people officer, and head of human resources strategy and people capabilities in 2021. She worked for a startup in 2022, then as principal executive adviser for Guild Education in 2024 before joining 7 Brew this year.
“She takes on challenging roles that require empathy and operational excellence,” said Ryan Loken, Tyson Foods’ head of HR policy, administration and governance. “She uplifts people while improving performance. And through every stage of her career, she has made others better — colleagues, organizations and communities alike.”
Passionate about supporting women, Quillen volunteers with Dress for Success, women’s shelters and the Literacy Council, as well as Whiskers Rescue. She’s on the board of the Northwest Arkansas Hunter Jumper Association, where she helps foster youth engagement through equestrian sports.
To relax, Quillen enjoys riding horses and traveling.
