Kristin Daniel grew up in Poyen (Grant County) with parents who barely got by financially. She saw financial planning as her opportunity to plan her way out of what she saw around her — everyone struggling with finances.

Graduating from the University of Central Arkansas in business administration in 2006, she went into retail management for Pier 1 Imports, working with stores across Arkansas and Mississippi.

In 2009 she joined the financial services industry, first as an agent. Then she worked in management for Woodmen of the World Insurance and spent five years with New York Life in Little Rock.

Daniel founded her firm in 2019. In 2020 her husband took a job with Black Hills Energy, they moved to Bentonville, and she brought her company to the region.

She sees her biggest accomplishment as “having the gumption to start my own company and go out on my own as a young female in a very male-dominated industry.”

In her role, Daniel oversees her team and develops strategy, focusing on ways to accommodate the needs of her entrepreneurial clients, the majority of her clients. The company’s revenue has grown eight times since its inception.

With offices in Little Rock, Fort Smith, Fayetteville and Bentonville, Daniel wants to expand to Jonesboro and possibly Conway or Tulsa.

Supporting resources for women entrepreneurs and for early childhood education are important to Daniel.

President of the Board of Directors for Helen Walton Children Enrichment Center, Daniel helped raise $15,000 for the center. As chair for the Justin Moore Golf Classic to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, she’s raised more than $2 million in four years. She also volunteers with Ronald McDonald House.

To relax, Daniel enjoys running and cooking.
