Alex Blass has a strong family legacy in construction and real estate. He counts his greatest achievement “as finding a way to work with my father and my wife in business,” because “they share in the vision and the success.”

Blass is working on Pinnacle Village, a 27-acre, mixed-use site in Rogers that will have a multi-story office building, apartments, retail and a hotel site. He also developed Northgate Plaza, Bellview Urban Center, and two 40,000-square-foot flex warehouses. In July, Blass broke ground on a 172 single-family home master community in Springdale.

Blass graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2010 with degrees in marketing management and small business entrepreneurship with a minor in real estate finance. He briefly worked for a Walmart supplier, before joining Sage Partners in 2012, founding Sage Asset Solutions in 2013 and becoming the youngest employee there to make partner.

In 2016 he facilitated the merger of that company with Hunt Ventures, then the largest commercial property management firm in Northwest Arkansas. Blass was vice president of operations for the newly merged company for three years.

Wanting to expand the business, he bought Rodden Landscape, doubling the employee count and increasing revenue from $1.2 million to $3 million within a year. In 2020 Blass founded Blue Ribbon Industries, a land design and maintenance company, consisting of Blue Ribbon Site Services, a trucking and dumpster company, and Blue Ribbon Outdoors, a landscaping company with 175 employees. Running a trade service business in Northwest Arkansas, Blass finds his greatest challenge is finding and keeping good, skilled labor.

An Eagle Scout, Blass is chairman of the Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and on the Benton County Sheriff’s Office LEAP board. Off work he enjoys date nights with his wife.
