Mary Alice Clark, 96, of Booneville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 in her home. She was born June 18, 1929 in Barling, Arkansas to Leo and Jenny Ortonna (Redwine) Overton. She was a retired teacher, homemaker and member of Grace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by three sons, Jay Clark and wife, Trish, Kyle Clark and wife, Liz and Jayson Clark and wife, Chelsea; three daughters, Deborah Clark, Cindy Rugeley and husband, Steve and Julie Basham and husband, Scott; one sister, Emily McLaughlin; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Clark and two brothers, Earle Overton and Charles Overton.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, August 11 at Grace Lutheran Church in Greenwood with burial at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 4 – 6 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Clark, Kirk Clark, Scott Basham, Jayden Clark, Wendell Zirbel and Perry Goines.
