Arkansas-based Lexicon, Inc. has promoted Bill Fitzgerald to vice president of marketing and communications.
Fitzgerald joined Lexicon as marketing director in 2021, bringing decades of advertising and creative leadership to the company. Tasked with building Lexicon’s marketing department and function from the ground up, he has since transformed how the company communicates, both internally and externally.
He launched the company’s first unified brand identity across its eight divisions, led a total website rebuild and rebrand, and developed comprehensive advertising and digital media campaigns to support both sales and workforce recruitment at job sites nationwide.
Fitzgerald spearheaded the creation of a company-wide, employees-only communications platform, LexComm, to connect Lexicon’s 3,000 employees working across multiple states and job sites. The platform enables real-time updates, training and community building, helping to unify and empower a growing, diverse workforce.
“Bill has been instrumental in giving voice and vision to our brand,” said Patrick Schueck, CEO of Lexicon, Inc. “He understands how to tell our story with authenticity and impact — and how to connect people to our mission, both inside the company and out in the world.”
Under Fitzgerald’s leadership, Lexicon has increased its presence through public relations, social media and strategic marketing efforts, raising awareness among multiple audiences of the company’s unique capabilities and the values that drive it. Most recently, he expanded the marketing team with two new positions – multimedia producer and content creator – to support continued growth and innovation.
Before joining Lexicon, Fitzgerald held key creative leadership roles, where he built award-winning campaigns for clients across diverse industries.
Most recently, he served as the vice president of marketing and communications for the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau. He has also held creative director roles at Thoma Thoma and Heifer International and as associate creative director at CJRW.
“We knew we needed someone with unique talents, experience and connections to tell the story of this billion-dollar, family-owned powerhouse company,” said Brian Rutherford, chief administrative officer of Lexicon, Inc. “Bill’s promotion marks more than a recognition of his contributions — it’s a strategic investment in marketing as a driver of growth, recruitment and national visibility. We’re proud to welcome him to the executive team and excited to see how his leadership will continue shaping how the world sees Lexicon.”
