The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has provisionally suspended Haider Ali Pakistan cricketer from all cricketing activities after he came under investigation in the United Kingdom.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed a rape allegation was made on August 4, 2025 over an incident in Manchester on July 23, 2025, during the Pakistan Shaheens’ UK tour. Haider Ali cricketer, a 24yearold man identified in was arrested, released on bail and is currently being probed in the UK. The complainant is being supported by the relevant services- police said.

On August 8, 2025, the PCB announced that it “fully respects the legal procedure” and suspended Haider Ali Pakistan cricketer with immediate effect pending the outcome of the investigation. The board confirmed that it will provide legal support to protect his rights and will take further action under its Code of Conduct once legal proceedings are concluded.

Haider Ali, aged 24, has represented Pakistan in 2 ODIs and 35 T20 Internationals since his debut in 2020. He was part of the Pakistan Shaheens squad during their recent tour of England.

The PCB suspends cricketer Haider Ali ruling means he will not participate in domestic or international cricket until the UK investigation is completed. The case continues under Greater Manchester Police jurisdiction.
