Ime Ndon Scores for Milsami Vs Virtus

Nigerian forward Ime Ndon scored a dramatic last-minute winner to help Moldovan champions Milsami seal a 3–2 home victory over Virtus in the first leg of their UEFA Conference League third qualifying round on Thursday night.

The exciting match was filled with goals, red cards, and late drama.

Milsami took the lead in the 31st minute through Nigerian midfielder Christopher Nwaeze, but Virtus equalised early in the second half when Stefano Scappini scored in the 51st minute from a pass by Gori. Scappini then put the visitors ahead in the 73rd minute with his second goal of the night.

Nabil Khali responded for Milsami just moments later in the 61st minute to bring the scoreline to 2–2.

However, Milsami’s chances took a hit when they were reduced to 9 men after two red cards were shown — Andrei Cobeț in the first half and Frederick Takyi in the 83rd minute. Despite the disadvantage, the Moldovan side kept pressing.

Then, in the 89th minute, Ime Ndon scored the winner after a clever assist from V. Jardan. His effort beat Virtus goalkeeper Passaniti, sparking wild celebrations at the stadium.
