The caption of her video read, “Didn’t get cracked last night so everyone is getting a ticket.” The slang term “cracked” means having intercourse. Escalera’s humorous threat to administer tickets because of her lack of sex sparked outrage among tabloids and internet users as the story trended online and sparked memes in the following days. She deleted the video soon after.

Sometime on or before August 4th, 2025, TikToker @ms.escaleraaa posted a video of herself in a police car in a police uniform with the caption, “Didn’t get cracked last night so everyone is getting a ticket.” The video has since been deleted.
It was reposted by Twitter / X user @CollinRugg on August 4th, gaining over 2.8 million views and 6,100 likes in a day (shown below).

On August 4th, 2025, the New York Post ran a piece on Escalera’s video, using a video from the Instagram account of @houstoncitybeat, which received over 18,400 views in a day.
That same day, X user Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) reposted the video of Escalera, gaining over 5,900 likes in a day (shown below).

Also on August 4th, 2025, X user @HardPass4 quote-tweeted the New York Post’s tweet about Jennifer Escalera, writing, “If a man said this, he’d be fired by the end of the day.” The post received over 2,900 likes in a day (shown below).

Later that day, X user @Oilfield_Rando quote-tweeted the same post, writing, “Texas bros, can one of you just take one for the team here?” gaining over 4,000 likes in a day (shown below).

The story also appeared on Reddit in early August 2025, including a post to the /r/Bad_Cop_No_Donut subreddit on the 4th, receiving over 210 upvotes and 25 comments in a day.
