Sarah Ferguson’s extravagant demands exposed as she made 4.30am request to butler
This morning, our Royal team shared the story that the Duchess of York had debts totaling hundreds of thousands of pounds paid off by the late Queen after living a life of “opulent excess”, according to a new explosive biography.
Sarah Ferguson, known as Fergie, spent wildly on staff, holidays, parties and flowers, with no regard on settling bills during her marriage to Prince Andrew, it is alleged.
The Duchess, who was married to the disgraced Duke of York for a decade between 1986 and 1996, was bailed out on “several occasions” according to renowned historian Andrew Lownie, including one payment of £500,000 in April 1994 when the bank Coutts “demanded £500,000 within 14 days”.
The biography, ‘Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the Yorks’, gives a startling insight into the Duke and Duchess’ “hedonistic life, controversial friendships and secretive money-making endeavours”.

Anita Rose killer posted hundreds of reviews on Google while on run before murder
This afternoon, our UK news team reported that a grandmother was brutally murdered by a wanted man while she was walking her dog on a public footpath, but her killer evaded cops despite posting hundreds of Google reviews while on the run.
Roy Barclay, 56, viscously attacked Anita Rose, 57, with “numerous kicks, stamps and blows” and she died in hospital four days later due to serious head injuries. Her vile attacker had previously been jailed for fracturing nearly every bone in an 82-year-old’s face, 10 years ago, but was released from prison.
Barclay was then wanted by police for breaching his licencing conditions but managed to evade cops for two years, despite leaving behind a large digital footprint. Today he was sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court to life for murder with a minimum term of 25 years in prison.

Chikungunya virus: All we know about deadly infection spreading through China
Earlier today our World News team shared a story on everything we currently know about a deadly infection currently spreadin through China.
A mosquito-borne virus outbreak has infected more than 7,000 people across at least 13 cities in China, prompting authorities to introduce strict precautions reminiscent of the COVID pandemic – even though the virus cannot be transmitted from person to person.
The chikungunya virus, which is only spread through the bite of an infected mosquito and is rarely fatal, has swept rapidly through more than a dozen cities in southern Guangdong province, just north of Hong Kong. Nearly 3,000 cases were reported in the past week alone, according to the BBC.
Chikungunya is typically uncommon in China, but infections soared after an imported case was detected in Foshan city on July 8, which has since become the worst-affected area, according to the New York Times. The news comes since reports that the disease could arrive in the UK.
