Wrexham have welcomed the arrival of another former Premier League star ahead of the club’s return to the Championship.
Phil Parkinson’s side finished second in League One behind runaway leaders Birmingham last season to secure a third back-to-back promotion.
The club have been transformed since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed their takeover in 2021 and the Hollywood duo’s ambition has shown no signs of slowing down.
On Tuesday Wrexham announced that they had completed the signing of Kieffer Moore from Championship rivals Sheffield United.
Reports suggest the transfer was worth around £2m, with the 32-year-old Moore joining on a three-year deal.
‘I’m over the moon to join the club and I can’t wait to get started,’ the striker said.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney even plotted an ambitious swoop for former Man United midfielder Christian Eriksen this summer
‘I want to be that experienced leader and bring a lot to the team. My work ethic is one of my strongest assets and I want to be someone that can help drive the team forward.’
The arrival of the Welsh international marks Wrexham’s eighth signing of the summer as they prepare for their first season in the second tier of English football since 1982.

Last week the club completed the signing of former England international Conor Coady on a two-year contract with the option of an additional year.
They have already broken their club transfer record twice this summer, first for Empoli left back Liberato Cacace and then for Nottingham Forest midfielder Lewis O’Brien.
Wrexham even recently made an approach for recently-out of contract Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen.
While Eriksen was impressed by the proposal, the 33-year-old ultimately declined the approach as he wants to continue his career in a top-flight competition.
