The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched an updated version of its Pak-ID mobile application, offering a host of new features aimed at making identity-related services faster, easier, and more accessible.

The latest upgrade brings real-time ID tracking, facial biometric verification at the start of the application process, and a revamped user interface designed for smoother navigation.

Citizens can now also view family member records without biometric verification and book appointments at NADRA centers directly through the app.

According to NADRA, the enhancements are part of a broader push to digitize and simplify public services. The authority highlighted that the app helps users save time by allowing them to complete essential tasks from the comfort of their homes.

NADRA has urged citizens to immediately update the Pak-ID app to take advantage of the new capabilities. In an earlier initiative, NADRA also introduced an online fee payment system through the app.

This feature enables both local and overseas Pakistanis to pay for services such as the Smart National Identity Card (SNIC), Child Registration Certificate (CRC), and Family Registration Certificate (FRC) without visiting NADRA offices.

The app is available for download on Android and iOS platforms.
