Michael Dillon Coder, 31, of Alma, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
Michael was a devoted husband, loving father, and a man of deep faith. He was a member of Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren and found great purpose in serving others—both in his professional life and his church community. He was currently working as a driver manager for USA Truck and had previously served with honor as a police officer for the Fort Smith Police Department. He also gave his time to the children’s ministry, where his kindness and heart for young people left a lasting impact.
An avid outdoorsman, Michael had a passion for hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking, and riding his motorcycle. One of his greatest joys was traveling the country on his bike, soaking in the freedom and beauty of the open road.
Michael was born on January 27, 1994, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to David and Tracey (Mixon) Coder. He is survived by his beloved wife, Brooke (Hicks) Coder of the home; and their three daughters, Lexie, Ryleigh, and Saylor Coder, who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his siblings, Logan Coder, Emily Coder and fiancé Rees Pledger, Tyler Coder, and Melissa Coder; his in-laws, Emily and Shannon Hicks; his brother-in-law, Nick Hicks and wife Maggie; and his wife’s grandparents, who held a special place in his heart: Sandy and Richard Hicks, and Elaine Tash and Carl Brewer.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Gene and Barbara Mixon and Aunt, Connie Rose.
