Ann L. Schossow, 90, of Van Buren, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025. She was born on June 27, 1935, in Jenny Lind, AR to the late Mayo Vincent and Mildred Rowe Vincent. Ann graduated from Fort Smith High School. Growing up at First Lutheran Church in Fort Smith, she continued to attend services at First Lutheran Church where she met future husband, David. They were married on September 5, 1954.

In 1972, they moved to Fort Smith. Ann worked in the laundry room at Kings Row Inn for 10 years until she retired to care for her husband. She was a devoted wife and caregiver to the love of her life.

She loved to sing. Everything from church hymns to Christmas carols to You are my Sunshine. Ann loved chocolate and ice cream. And she loved the Razorbacks!

In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, David William Schossow, Sr., her oldest son, David William Schossow, Jr. and five grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Debra Nislar of Lubbock, TX, Kathy Clifton of Bloomer, AR and Susan Ramsey of Fort Smith. Three sons, Robert Schossow (Brenda) of Rogers, AR, Rick Schossow (Jill) of Springfield, MO and John Schossow (Tracey) of Abbott, AR. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Public viewing will be from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Robert Schossow, Richard Schossow, John Schossow, Christian Schossow, Caleb Schossow, and Dewey Carroll.
