Nigerian football star Ademola Lookman has deleted all photos and posts about Atalanta from his Instagram page. He also unfollowed the club, showing he is unhappy with his current situation.

Lookman, 26, has been linked with a move to Italian giants Inter Milan. However, his club, Atalanta, rejected Inter’s first offer of €45 million last Friday. Reports say Atalanta want at least €50 million before they let him go.

The Super Eagles forward has two years left on his contract. Although Atalanta want to keep him and are offering a new deal worth €4.5 million a year until 2029, Lookman is not interested. He wants to move this summer.

Inter Milan have already agreed personal terms with Lookman, but they have not made a second offer yet.

Since the beginning of the year, it has been clear that Lookman is ready to leave. Last summer, Atalanta stopped his transfer, but this year they are open to selling him — if the price is right.

Lookman has also been linked with Arsenal, Manchester United, West Ham, and Atletico Madrid. However, none of those clubs have made a formal bid so far.

Fans noticed that Lookman changed his profile picture on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to a black image, which some see as a sign of frustration or sadness. Many footballers have taken similar steps in the past to push for a move away from their club.

Inter Milan are rebuilding under their new coach Cristian Chivu and are keen to sign the Nigerian winger. With Lookman eager to leave, Inter might return soon with a better offer to seal the deal.
