Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was seen enjoying the much-talked-about Oasis comeback concert in Manchester — and he wasn’t alone.
During his summer break, Pep was spotted at the concert with his children and, surprisingly, his ex-wife, Cristina Serra. This comes just months after the couple’s divorce, which was reported earlier this year.
Their appearance together shows that even after a breakup, they still have a warm and respectful relationship, especially for the sake of their children.
A Family Moment at the Concert
Guardiola, a big fan of the band Oasis, was seen in the VIP section at Heaton Park. He was joined by his eldest daughter Maria, his son Màrius, relatives of the band members, and other famous faces.
While he sang along happily in a retro Manchester City shirt, the moment became a bit awkward when Liam Gallagher, one of the band’s lead singers, gave him a shout-out, calling him “the best coach of all time.” This led to some boos from parts of the crowd.
Maria later shared more about the night on her TikTok. In a video titled “Memories of Oasis in Manchester,” she revealed that her mother, Cristina Serra, had also been there. One clip even showed Màrius hugging Cristina during the concert, confirming her quiet presence that night.
Peace After the Split
Although there were no clear videos of Pep and Cristina interacting, it was clear they were together with their children, showing strong co-parenting and family unity.
Their divorce, confirmed in early 2025 by Spanish news outlet El Periodico, was described as peaceful and respectful. The decision was reportedly made in December 2024, with both using the same lawyer to handle things smoothly.
Cristina had moved back to Barcelona in 2019 to run her family’s fashion business, Serra Claret, while Pep stayed in Manchester for work. Despite living in different cities, the family continued to attend important events together, even spending Christmas 2024 as a family.
Their recent appearance at the concert proves that even though their marriage ended, their bond as a family remains strong.
