The Sindh government has officially barred employment based on fake educational certificates, domiciles, and CNICs. In a move to tighten recruitment procedures, the Chief Secretary Sindh issued directives to all Additional Chief Secretaries, Secretaries, Commissioners, and Deputy Commissioners to ensure document verification before issuing any government job orders.

According to the directive, no department or subordinate office can proceed with new job offers without prior verification of educational documents from relevant education boards, CNICs from NADRA, domiciles from respective Deputy Commissioners, and Permanent Residence Certificates (PRC) from the same DC offices. Any other relevant documents must also be verified before offering employment.

The order is based on the voice raised by the Chief Minister of Sindh about the government departments not checking documents during the hiring process. This practice has given rise to legal problems with the false document holders receiving orders of employment and filing cases in the courts and making the departments undergo lengthy procedures.

The Chief Secretary warned that strict action will be taken against officers who do not comply. All provincial departments and district-level administrations have been directed to implement these orders immediately.
