Cheryl Lynn Knight, 73, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 at her home. She was a homemaker, loved her pets and plants and always looked forward to going to the Mountainburg Community Center to play dominoes. Cheryl was born November 8, 1951 in South Gate, California to the late Oliver and Ethel (Corley) Knight. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Thell Butler and a brother, Billy Knight.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy 64 E., Alma, Arkansas 72921.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Tina Sims of Shawnee, Oklahoma; son, Charlie Carpenter and wife Ashley of Central City; grandchildren, Tayla Smith and husband Darin, Tia Jones and husband Ryan, Skylin Sims, MicKayla Sims and Austin Eiland; great grandchildren, Maddox, Memphis, Piper, Jayden and Leroy; a sister, Jeannette Collums; brothers, Edgar Knight and Larry Knight along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Darin Smith, Ryan Jones, Larry Knight, Jason Knight, Austin Eiland and Roy Gene Cochran.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Knight, Edgar Knight, Keith Knight, Brian Knight, Eric Knight and Jake Stewart.
