
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University will offer support in August for small businesses to learn about funding, growing and marketing their business.
ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs.
Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing, and profitability. Consulting sessions offer opportunities for business owners to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant. Spots are limited for consulting sessions.
Sessions and classes will take place as follows:
Laura Miller, director of ASBTDC, will lead consulting sessions on Aug. 5 at city hall.
Robert Bahn, ASBTDC business consultant, will lead consulting sessions at Generating Innovative Network in Paragould on Aug 12.
Miller will lead consulting sessions on Aug 13 from at the Batesville Chamber of Commerce. The next day Miller, will lead a “Starting a Business in Arkansas” seminar at the Tech Depot in Newport.
Destiny Adams, ASBTDC business consultant, will lead a “Starting a Business in Arkansas” seminar at Black River Technical College in Pocahontas on Aug 20.
ASBTDC will partner with Atwill Media to present “Online Reviews: Unfiltered Feedback,” a masterclass in forming and maintaining an online presence. This class will be held at Judd Hill Farmers’ Market on Aug 21.
Melissa Forziat will join ASBTDC to host a “20 ways to Market your Business” webinar on Aug. 27.
