Xiaomi is gearing up to expand its flagship lineup with the much-anticipated Xiaomi 17 Ultra, following the unveiling of the Xiaomi 17 series[1] last month. The lineup currently includes the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. While the company has yet to confirm details about the Ultra model, new leaks have shed light on its advanced camera system.

According to the latest reports[2], the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature a powerful quad-camera setup on the back. The configuration is said to include one 200MP main sensor and three 50MP lenses. The primary camera will reportedly deliver an impressive dynamic range, while the periscope telephoto lens is expected to use a new optical technology. It is also believed that one of the four lenses will serve as an ultrawide camera and another as a standard telephoto unit.

Sources suggest that Xiaomi has made major upgrades to the Ultra’s main and periscope cameras, promising significant improvements over the previous generation. The enhancements aim to boost overall image quality and zoom performance, making the 17 Ultra one of Xiaomi’s most advanced camera phones to date.

Additionally, reports indicate that Xiaomi will launch two versions of the 17 Ultra. Both variants are expected to share the same sensor and lens technologies, but the higher-end model may include exclusive imaging features designed to redefine smartphone photography standards. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is likely to debut in the coming months.
