The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched a revamped version of its official website www.pta.gov.pk[1], with a fresh design and major accessibility upgrades. The redesign aims to offer a smoother and more user-friendly digital experience for both local and international audiences.
The updated website now supports both English and Urdu. This bilingual feature is a major step toward inclusivity, ensuring that more users across Pakistan can easily access information and services.
In addition, PTA has integrated advanced accessibility tools into the site. These new features are designed to support people with diverse needs, reflecting PTA’s commitment to digital inclusiveness and transparency.
To implement the new changes, the PTA website underwent scheduled maintenance from 12:30 AM to 6:00 AM on October 9, 2025. The authority apologized for any inconvenience and appreciated users’ patience during this brief downtime.
This overhaul is part of PTA’s broader strategy to improve public communication and ensure seamless access to regulatory information online.
The website actually looks great now. The visuals are cool, the website is running smoothly, and the loading times have decreased considerably. It feels like there are some credible people behind the website now; finally. Every government website needs to be overhauled, and steps like these should not halt. User experience should be the first priority of websites that are made solely for the ease of citizens online. They shouldn’t be torturing them instead.
