Samsung has expanded the rollout of its Android 16-based One UI 8 update[1] to four more smartphones: the Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy M36, and Galaxy F36.

The Galaxy Z Fold4[2] and Galaxy Z Flip4[3] are now receiving the stable One UI 8 update with firmware versions F936BXXUAIYIF and F721BXXUAIYIF. This release also includes the October 2025 Android security patch and comes with a hefty download size of over 3GB. The update is currently available across Asia, Africa, and Europe, giving users access to Samsung’s latest software enhancements.

Sources[4] say the Galaxy M36 and Galaxy F36 have also started receiving the stable One UI 8 update. Both updates bring the September 2025 security patch and require around 2.3GB of free space. The Galaxy M36 update carries firmware version M366BXXUZBYI3, while the Galaxy F36 version is E366BXXU2BYI4.

Samsung’s steady rollout shows its ongoing push to deliver timely Android 16 updates across its smartphone lineup. Users can expect smoother performance, refined animations, and improved security once the installation is complete.
