The “Maui Wowie” Trend is a TikTok lip dub trend where participants hang from a street crossing pole by one arm while lip syncing to the song “Maui Wowie” by Kid Cudi, specifically the lyrics, “Goin’ back to Honolulu just to get that, that Maui Wowie, that Maui Wowie.” The trend began in late September 2025 and was popularized in early October. It was seemingly started by TikToker @aaronxbrownn.
