The second annual Amazon[1] Prime Day has officially started, although the retailer has decided to call it the ‘Prime Big Deal Days’ sale. Despite the unpronounceable name, the sale offers some incredible Kindle[2] deals today.
In fact, today’s Prime Day Kindle deals offer record-low prices across the board. Regardless of whether you’re looking for a cheap model, or something a little higher-end, it’s a great time to consider picking up one of the brand’s ereaders.
Particularly noteworthy highlights include the brand new Kindle Colorsoft for $199 (was $249)[3] / £169 (was £239)[4], the high-end Scribe on sale for $299 (was $399)[5] / £269 (was £379)[6], and Kindle Kids models starting at just $94 (was $129)[7] / £84 (was £114)[8]. I’ve rounded up today’s record-low prices in both the US and UK just below.
As with previous Prime Day events, you’ll need to be a Prime member to access some of these prices. Not all of today’s Prime Day Kindle deals are exclusive, but a few of the discounts on bundles in particular are. If you’re not already a member, then you can sign up for a free 30-day trial[9] at no cost. That will cover you for all the other various Prime Day deals[10] that are also available on TVs, devices, appliances, and much more.
