Pakistan is observing Youm-e-Istehsal 2025 today to commemorate six years of India’s unilateral and illegal move to abrogate Article 370 in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The day has been marked all over the country to support the sense of solidarity with the Kashmiri people and condemn the action taken by India on August 5, 2019.

Youm-e-Istehsal rallies, awareness campaigns, and special events are being held throughout the nation, including Islamabad and all four provinces, as well as Azad Jammu and Gilgit-Baltistan. The citizens, government officials, and members of civil society joined a central rally organized in Islamabad at the Foreign Office to D-Chowk. At 10:00 AM, a one-minute silence in memory of the martyrs and Indian aggression in Kashmir was kept.

Pakistani missions abroad are also actively observing Youm e Istehsal, with events highlighting ongoing human rights violations in IIOJK. Special media broadcasts and documentaries are being aired to raise awareness about the Kashmir freedom movement, Indian policies in the region, and relevant UN resolutions on Kashmir.
