Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the PFA Women’s Super League Fans’ Player of the Month award for September, following an outstanding start to her debut season in England with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 24-year-old joined Brighton from Paris FC during the summer transfer window and has quickly established herself as one of the top goalkeepers in the Women’s Super League. In her first five appearances, Nnadozie has recorded two clean sheets, made several crucial saves, and helped her side collect seven points from five matches.

Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the PFA Women’s Super League Fans’ Player of the Month award for September, following an outstanding start to her debut season in England with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Her impressive debut — a commanding display in a goalless draw against Aston Villa — earned her the Player of the Match award and set the tone for what has been a brilliant start to life in the WSL.

The nomination caps a remarkable year for Nnadozie, who was a key figure in Nigeria’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations triumph, where she won the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament award. She also made history as the first African woman to be nominated for the Women’s Yashin Trophy at the Ballon d’Or.
