Saudi Arabia’s GO Telecommunications Group will establish the GO AI Hub Pakistan in October 2025, a major initiative designed to strengthen cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI), digital infrastructure, and innovation between Riyadh and Islamabad.

The announcement was made during a meeting in Riyadh between Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja and GO Group executives.

Both sides discussed potential collaboration in data center development, technical talent training, and digital infrastructure expansion across Pakistan. The project aims to enhance regional connectivity while promoting the use of advanced technologies in both countries.

The upcoming GO AI Hub will function as a joint platform for knowledge transfer, capacity building, and the co-creation of digital solutions, facilitating stronger partnerships in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data-driven innovation.

Minister Shaza Fatima praised GO Group’s expertise in AI and digital transformation, calling the project a step forward in realizing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s “Digital Nation Vision Pakistan”, which seeks to position the country as a regional technology hub.

The official launch ceremony of the AI Hub is scheduled for October 2025 and will be attended by senior government officials and industry leaders from both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
