Nigerian star Rinsola Babajide scored her first league goal for AS Roma as they beat Parma 4-0 in a Serie A Women’s match on Saturday, 4 October 2025.
The 27-year-old forward had a great game at the Stadio Tre Fontane and scored her first league goal this season.
Babajide joined Roma after a strong season with Costa Adeje Tenerife and helped Nigeria’s Super Falcons win the WAFCON title. She signed a contract with Roma until June 2027 to take the next step in her career.
She scored her first goal for Roma in the Coppa Italia last month against Sassuolo, and now she has scored in the league too.
In the match against Parma, Alice Corelli scored the first goal in the 9th minute, assisted by Manuela Giugliano.
Babajide scored the second goal in the 28th minute, again helped by Giugliano, giving Roma a 2-0 lead at half time.
In the second half, Giugliano scored again in the 56th minute to make it 3-0.
Super Falcons player Shukurat Oladipo came on in the 63rd minute to bring fresh energy.
Giulia Dragoni scored the fourth goal in the 73rd minute, assisted by Corelli. Babajide was substituted shortly after.
Roma kept their lead and won the game 4-0, moving up the league table.
Babajide shared her joy on social media, saying: “League debut First league goal of the season, first win of the season, all praise to God ”
She is expected to join the Super Falcons for the upcoming WAFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic.
