Things are starting to get a little chilly right now, and on schedule, the Steam Autumn Sale has gone live[1]. Like previous years, this is where you can score some great deals on hundreds of games, ranging from blockbuster AAA titles to quirky indies that deserve your attention. Depending on your budget, you can easily pick a GOTY contender for its best price yet, or if you don’t mind skipping your morning pumpkin spice latte, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised with the low-budget and highly entertaining game you’ve grabbed instead. The sale starts today, September 29, and runs through October 6.

On the slight chance that nothing here interests you, there are several more Steam Sales to prepare your finances for throughout the rest of 2025. Steam Next Fest brings a stack of game demos to try out when it kicks off on October 13, Steam Scream is a celebration of horror games, and Steam’s Animal Fest celebrates Animal Day with the critters that share the planet with us.
If you do miss out on the Steam Autumn Sale, then you’ll have to wait until December 18 for the Steam Winter Sale, which runs through January 5, 2026.
