Malian side Djoliba Athletic Club have left Uyo after their 1-1 draw against Abia Warriors in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round first leg on Sunday.

The delegation, led by Modibo Koulibaly, expressed satisfaction with the warm reception and hospitality they received during their stay in Nigeria.

The team began their journey back home on Monday, 22 September 2025, departing the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, by midday.

Djoliba will now shift focus to the return leg scheduled for Sunday, 28 September, at the Stade Mamadou Konaté in Bamako, where they will host Abia Warriors[1] to decide who progresses to the next round of the competition.
