A court has reportedly rejected the bail application of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, in the ongoing gambling apps case. The influencer will remain in custody on judicial remand as the investigation moves forward.

The judicial magistrate dismissed Ducky Bhai’s bail plea during Monday’s proceedings, directing investigators from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to submit the challan without delay. The YouTuber is already serving a 14-day judicial remand[1] following his arrest last month.

Ducky Bhai was taken into custody on August 17 at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport. Authorities allege that he promoted illegal gambling apps such as Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game, while also working as a country manager for one of them. Investigators claim he managed large financial transactions to attract users from his millions of followers.

The Ducky Bhai gambling apps case involves charges under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, including fraud, forgery, cheating, and spamming. If convicted, he could face heavy fines and prison sentences.

The scandal has rippled through Pakistan’s influencer community, with several other prominent content creators, including Iqra Kanwal of Sisterology, Muhammad Anas Ali, Hasnain Shah, Mudassar Hassan, and Rajab Butt, summoned[2] for questioning.

According to NCCIA officials, the case goes beyond app promotion, pointing to an organized network behind large-scale financial scams. The development has sparked nationwide debate on influencer accountability and the regulation of digital endorsements in Pakistan.
