Carolyn Joyce Ford, 77, of Clarksville, Arkansas, peacefully entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. She was born on September 3, 1948, in Sheridan, Arkansas, to Paul Emberton, Kelly Okazaki, and Sadie Mae (Campbell) Lynch.
On August 31, 1966, Carolyn married the love of her life, Danny McKinley Ford, with whom she shared many treasured years until his passing.
Carolyn was a woman of strong faith and a devoted Christian who loved Jesus with all her heart. She lived her life with kindness, love, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She found joy in reading her Bible, journaling, playing games, getting her nails done, and surrounding herself with pretty treasures and knick-knacks. Carolyn was happiest when spending time with her family, laughing, and making memories together.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and beloved family member. Carolyn cherished her entire family dearly. She loved deeply, encouraged often, and her family was the center of her life. Carolyn will be remembered for her loving spirit, her laughter, and the way she faithfully lived her life for Christ. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion that will continue to inspire her family for generations to come.
Carolyn is survived by her three children: Tressie Marie Ford of Barling, AR; Phillip McKinley Ford of Clarksville, AR; and Paula Annette Guess of Barling, AR; ten grandchildren, Duane Ewasiuk, Joshua Wilkerson, Noah Guess, Jessica Cox, Daniel Guess, Sean Guess, Justin Wilkerson, Matthew Guess, Michaela Ford, and Jacob Wilkerson; and thirty-two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Janice Spain, Ronnie Okazaki, and Kathy Bell, as well as 18 nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Emberton and Sadie Lynch; her husband, Danny McKinley Ford; granddaughter, Katelyn Ford; and siblings: Orville, Alvie, Patricia, Myrtice, and Wade Emberton. She is also preceded in death by Mike Panis, Charlottee Spain, Randall Spain, Danielle Ford, Vince Panis, Gene Spain, Buddy Spain, Juanita Emberton, Robin Ford, Edward Ford, and David Hines.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will take place on the following Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Tim Spain. Interment will follow at Hartford Cemetery in Hartford, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Duane Ewasiuk, Josh Wilkerson, Noah Guess, Derrick Daniel, Joshua Cox, and Brenton Spencer. A reception will follow after internment at 504 South Fowler Street, in Greenwood, AR. Services under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
