Swifties will have a new place to celebrate The Life of a Showgirl’s release[1]: the theaters! On Friday, the pop star announced “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” a limited-run event to celebrate the new record on the day it’s released, October 3.

Swift shared that fans will also get an exclusive first look at the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia,” and hear behind-the-scenes commentary about how she made the record.

“I hereby invite you to a *dazzling* soirée, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl: Oct 3 – Oct 5 only in cinemas!” Swift wrote on Instagram, adding that fans will get to watch “never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut-by-cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album The Life of a Showgirl.”

Fans will have the opportunity to participate all weekend at AMC Theatres locations across the United States, with first screenings starting simultaneously at 3 p.m. ET/noon PT on release day. The program has an 89-minute runtime and will cost $12, excluding booking fees.

“Looks like it’s time to brush off that Eras Tour outfit or orange cardigan… Tickets are on sale now. Dancing is optional but very much encouraged,” Swift wrote. Tickets went on sale at 12:12 p.m. ET, and fans will be “welcome to sing and dance,” unlike traditional showtimes, according to AMC.

Cinemark will also be hosting the Swift release party event and will include access to Cinemark XD, which features bigger screens and an immersive sound system. “We’re honored to bring Taylor Swift[2], one of the most iconic and influential entertainers of our time, back to the big screen at Cinemark,” said Sean Gamble, Cinemark CEO, in s press release. “We are thrilled to invite Swifties to celebrate TS12 together in a vibrant, communal setting where the magic of our auditoriums wraps you in the moment with larger-than-life visuals and enveloping surround sound, creating an experience that simply can’t be matched.”
