Apple’s latest smartphones, the iPhone Air[1] and the iPhone 17 series[2], are now officially available to buy. The devices, unveiled last week, first went up for pre-orders across 63 countries. Today, customers can purchase them through Apple’s online and retail stores, as well as from authorized third-party resellers.
The rollout covers a wide range of markets. Shoppers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Japan, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Turkey, the UAE, Vietnam, Colombia, and several other countries can now get their hands on the new iPhones.
However, Apple has hit a snag in China. The launch of the iPhone Air in the country has been delayed due to eSIM compliance concerns[3]. Apple has not shared a new timeline for its release there.
With this global release, Apple continues its push to expand availability quickly after launch events. The company hopes the iPhone Air’s lightweight design and the iPhone 17 lineup’s upgraded features will drive strong sales momentum in both established and emerging markets.
