One of the cool things that you learn after getting a cat is that cats have a superpower. Yes, we mean that literally. Cats have the power of… teleportation. We know that you, as the non-cat owners, don’t believe us, but every cat person will tell you that this is true. It is the only thing that explains how cats pop up in random places[1] all the time when you just saw them somewhere else.
Of course, as we said, random people are not aware of this fact. So, of course, when a cat suddenly shows up in their house[2], unannounced and unexpected, they are shocked. But we, as the experienced cat owners, know this happens. In fact, we hope that one day, a cat will teleport into our house[3] unexpectedly. That will save us the time and effort of going into a shelter to adopt one. Because that’s what generally happens. If a cat decides to teleport into your house, it generally also wants to stay there, and that is something that you, as the person living in that house, just have to deal with.
