Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has officially joined Bayern Munich on a season-long loan, despite the move nearly falling through on deadline day.
What Happened?
The deal looked off after Chelsea were hesitant to let Jackson leave due to an injury to Liam Delap. However, both clubs returned to talks and reached a new agreement just in time. Chelsea have now confirmed the move is complete.
Jackson Heads to Germany
The 23-year-old striker leaves Stamford Bridge having scored 30 goals in 81 games for Chelsea. He will now play in the Bundesliga, adding attacking strength to a Bayern side chasing another league title and looking for support alongside Harry Kane.
