Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has released his final 23-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa next month.
The list includes many of the regular players, but there are also some big absentees. Bayer Leverkusen duo Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella have been left out, while Real Sociedad striker Sadiq Umar is also missing.
Among those selected are goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, defenders Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina and Bright Osayi-Samuel, midfielders Wilfred Ndidi, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Frank Onyeka, as well as forwards Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze and Cyriel Dessers.
