EA and Battlefield Studios have shared more information about the PC edition of Battlefield 6, including final confirmation of the game’s PC requirements for launch. The developer posted the details on its blog.

“Battlefield 6 brings the best PC experience in the history of the franchise offering the widest array of features and customization options ever supported,” the developer said.

Regarding anti-cheat on PC, EA said Battlefield 6 will use the Javelin anti-cheat system. “Our Anticheat system has unique modifications designed to safeguard against cheats and hacks specific to the FPS space. Javelin has been built from the ground up by a team of veteran engineers and analysts focused on studying cheating problems for each specific game under EA’s umbrella and designing unique features to solve those issues,” the developer explained.

Battlefield 6 will also have ultrawide monitor support on PC, including support for 21:9 and 32:9. There are also more than 600 customization options for players, including things like HDR and HUD scaling. Players on PC can also look forward to upscaling technology like frame generation, anti-aliasing, and latency reduction.

Battlefield Studios also re-confirmed that Battlefield 6 will have post-launch support in the form of more modes, maps, weapons, and other features–this is why the storage space requirement for the game includes the disclaimer “at launch.”
