Trent Alexander-Arnold was brutally dropped from the starting lineup for Real Madrid’s victory away to Real Oviedo on Sunday.
Alexander-Arnold joined Real from Liverpool in the summer and featured for the Spanish side at the Club World Cup.
However, he endured a difficult LaLiga debut with an unconvincing performance in the win at home to Osasuna.
Dani Carvajal started at right-back against Oviedo, with Alexander-Arnold replacing him in the 87th minute.
Alexander-Arnold will hope to be back in the starting lineup when Real host Mallorca next weekend.
Kylian Mbappe scored a brace against Oviedo before Vinicius Jr (who like Alexander-Arnold had been left out of the starting lineup) made it 3-0.
