Luke Bradley Francis, beloved father, son, and friend, passed away on August 9th, 2025 at the age of 46. Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Luke’s journey carried him far beyond his hometown—across New York, California, and the world as he pursued his passion for comedy and the arts. A gifted comedian and performer, Luke lit up every stage he touched. His career spanned stand-up, film, and television, including memorable roles in movies and shows such as Ghost Babe and Grey’s Anatomy. His humor carried him around the globe, where he toured with Comedy Central and won numerous awards for his stand-up performances.
But Luke was more than a performer—he was a soul deeply rooted in creativity, spirituality, and music. Whether through a witty one-liner, a lifelong nickname, a heartfelt song, or a thoughtful reflection, he had a way of connecting with people and making them feel seen. He lived with an open heart, guided by his Jewish faith and a steadfast belief in giving back to the earth and the people around him. Those who knew Luke will remember his sharp wit, his musical talent, and his generosity of spirit. He leaves behind not only a legacy of laughter and art but also countless cherished memories that will continue to inspire joy and creativity in others.
Luke is survived by his mother, Karen Brown, brothers James and Calvin Francis, and his daughter Malorey Francis. His family was his life and his drive for his success.
A private service will be held to honor his life and legacy.
