Enyimba Football Club have announced that 22 players have left the team as part of their squad changes ahead of the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Aba-based club thanked the players for their contributions and wished them success in their future careers.

The players who departed include: Imo Prince Ikemdinachi, Musa Usman Babalolo, Innocent Gabriel, Nelson Michael, Alade Muyiwa Balogun, Nnachi Chidiebere, Ani Ozoemena, Akanni Elijah, Imo Obot Udo, Gideon Peter, Tobias Orkuma, Junior Lokosa, Umeh Gozie, Chisom Ejio, Fatai Abdulahi, Somiari Orinate Alalibo, Leonard Chisom, Olufemi Opeoluwa, Brown Ideye, Augustine Onyemaechi, Ukadike Chiemerie Divine, and Chidera Eze.

In addition, three players have been sent out on loan: Obichere Wisdom Odinaka, Purpose Ahubaraezemma, and Samuel Buah Nuako – all joining Kun Khalifat FC.

Preparations for the new campaign are in top gear, with Enyimba set to begin their season on 22 August away to newly promoted Barau FC. They will then host Niger Tornadoes and Nasarawa United in Aba.
