Four Saturday matches kick off this week’s competition, with Newcastle travelling to Aston Villa, Thomas Frank taking charge of his first Tottenham league game against newly-promoted Burnley and Wolves hosting Manchester City – while Sunderland are back in the big time as they welcome West Ham.
Sunday sees Nottingham Forest hosting Brentford and Chelsea facing Community Shield winners Crystal Palace, before concluding with Manchester United’s showdown with Arsenal.
Of course, all eyes will be on Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in the most-anticipated match of the weekend.

‘I’ll take Crystal Palace, buoyed by their win in the Community Shield and still seething at their exclusion from the Europa League, to claim a draw at Chelsea, too. Even without key men, Oliver Glasner’s men are an extremely well-coached team who have proved they can cause anyone problems.
