Overview
Peterbot N-word with Hard R Controversy refers to a 2025 controversy concerning a video of professional Fortnite player Peterbot saying the n-word with a “hard R” and also saying the f-slur. According to Peterbot, the video was recorded at the Agent House when he was 16 years old. He’s notably seen in the video eating chocolate cake, which inspired the moniker Peterbot Chocolate Cake Video to refer to the clip. The video resurfaced on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube in August 2025, sparking backlash on social media. Some internet users claimed that his apology tweet was AI-generated, though, which sparked its own backlash.
