A 5,000-square-foot Mermaids restaurant recently opened at 2011 S. Promenade Blvd., No. 440, in Rogers. The new location will offer “the same heartfelt hospitality that’s made their Fayetteville location a favorite for years,” the company noted.
The Fayetteville location closed late last year, but plans are underway to open a more casual concept in Fayetteville at a venue yet to be announced.
Mermaids — “known for its coastal charm, Southern heart, and unforgettable celebrations” — is a brand of Golden Table Collective, led by Chef Todd Golden and Nickki Golden, according to the release. Its other brands include Isabella’s Italian, TJ’s Sandwich Shop, and Hugs Ice Cream. The Goldens have been in the restaurant business in Northwest Arkansas for more than 40 years.
“We’ve always believed that Mermaids is more than a restaurant — it’s a place where people celebrate milestones, reconnect with old friends, and simply enjoy the moment,” said Golden. “Opening our doors in Rogers means extending that joy to even more families, date nights, and everyday diners who want something familiar and special all at once.”
Asked how much was invested into the new location, Golden said “a smidge and a whole lot of love.”
Isabella’s Italian in Fayetteville will offer the Mermaids menu for lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mermaids in Rogers has about 20 staff.
