The 5,000-square-foot Oak Steakhouse Rogers recently opened atop the new six-story, 170-room Hotel Avail at 4100 S. Pinnacle Hills Parkway in the Pinnacle Hills area of Rogers, according to a news release.

The restaurant is the steakhouse concept of The Indigo Road Hospitality Group and its first Oak Steakhouse in Arkansas. The company declined to provide the investment cost. Last summer, it opened Japanese restaurant Junto and tropical Bar Kapu at Motto by Hilton hotel in downtown Bentonville.

“From the moment we stepped foot in Northwest Arkansas, our team has experienced a strong sense of community,” said Steve Palmer, founder of The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. “Our intention with Oak Steakhouse Rogers is to welcome this community in and celebrate that hospitality, building on the success of Junto and the warm welcome we have received.”

The 124-seat restaurant is alongside the 64-seat rooftop terrace and bar. Oak Steakhouse occupies the sixth floor and the rooftop of Hotel Avail, which opened in June. The restaurant is open nightly and for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

The culinary program is led by Executive Chef and Oak Steakhouse Culinary Director Josh Keeler, a three-time James Beard nominee. The restaurant has 61 staff.

Hotel Avail’s brand is Tapestry Collection by Hilton. In fall 2023, the city of Rogers issued a permit valued at $28.9 million to Crossland Construction Co. for the hotel’s construction.

Windsor Aughtry Co., a commercial real estate developer and brokerage firm based in Greenville, S.C., is the owner/developer. LPB Architects of Atlanta is the design firm. Crafton Tull of Rogers is the civil engineer. Fayetteville-chartered Arvest Bank provided a seven-year construction loan worth $40 million.

Windsor Aughtry paid $2.75 million for the 1.42-acre site in May 2023. JH Land Holdings LLC, managed by Hunt Ventures chairwoman and developer Johnelle Hunt, was the seller.
