Brenda Kaye Willson, age 55, of Mulberry, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025. She was born on August 5, 1970, in Terra Haute, Indiana, to Clarence Oda and Rosetta Mae (Fleener) Melton.

Brenda found joy in life’s simple pleasures—reading a good book, watching wrestling, going fishing, and playing cards. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, especially during the holidays, which she eagerly anticipated each year. Her beloved dog Chloe, affectionately nicknamed “Monkey Butt,” held a special place in her heart.

She was of the Assembly of God faith and lived her life with love, kindness, and devotion to those around her. Brenda was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and wife—roles she embraced with pride and compassion.

Of all the titles she held, she was most proud to be the wife of her late husband, Ronnie, whose memory she carried with deep love and loyalty.

Brenda is survived by her beloved parents, Clarence Oda and Rosetta Mae (Fleener) Melton of Mulberry, Arkansas; her two children, Tiffany Belknap, David Belknap and spouse Jessica; two grandchildren, Leticia and Caine Belknap, all of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; six siblings, Carol Poe Melton and spouse Shannon of Iowa, Dennis Lee Melton of Mulberry, Arkansas, Randy Melton of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Russell Melton and late wife Terrie of Alma, Arkansas, Christy Shipley and spouse Shane of Van Buren, Arkansas, James Langley and spouse Jeanie of Mulberry, Arkansas; as well as numerous cousins.

She is preceded in passing by her loving husband, Ronnie Willson; her grandparents, Amos and Christine Fleener, Isaac and Bessie Melton; her great grandparents, John and Bertha Fleener, Jacob and Caroline Melton.

There will be a memorial service held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Dyer Cemetery in Dyer, Arkansas. Cremation is under the thoughtful care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
