A day ahead of its release, the Trophies and Achievements for Mafia: The Old Country have gone live.
As a smaller single-player game, the foundation of the list is Achievements and Trophies earned by simply playing through the story. There’s also an Achievement/Trophy for completing the game on Hard mode. We don’t yet know if Hard mode will be available from the start, so you might need to make at least two playthroughs.
What I did find surprising is that the list has quite a few stealth-related Trophies and Achievements. The wording seems to suggest these segments allow you to be spotted and still fight your way out.
At the time of writing, Mafia: The Old Country has a score of 78 on Opencritic. Some outlets such as Push Square and Eurogamer did not get early review codes, although in the case of Push Square, this is because only PC codes were distributed. This is not unusual in my experience, with PC code often being ready well before console codes.
I didn’t hear anything back from the publisher, but that’s not surprising. I’m intending on reviewing the game, and based on the list, might even chase the Platinum.
