OnePlus has officially introduced its latest flagship smartphones, the OnePlus[1] 15 and Ace 6, at a launch event in China. Both devices bring significant hardware changes, including higher refresh rate displays, increased battery capacity, and a redesigned camera setup. The OnePlus 15 marks a shift in design and imaging approach, while the Ace 6 focuses on endurance and screen size. A broader international release is expected in November.
Design and Display
The OnePlus 15 moves away from the curved screens seen in earlier models and now features a flat display. The front panel measures 6.78 inches with a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 165Hz, replacing the previous 6.82-inch QHD+ 120Hz screen. The newer BOE X3 panel offers equal bezels of 1.15mm around the screen, making the overall dimensions of the phone more compact than its predecessor. Color options for the OnePlus 15 include Absolute Black, Misty Purple, and Sand Dune.
The OnePlus Ace 6 follows a similar flat design approach but uses a slightly larger 6.83-inch AMOLED screen, also with Full HD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The uniform design language makes the two devices visually consistent despite their size difference. The OnePlus Ace 6 Comes in Black, White, and Silver.
Internals and Software
Under the hood, the OnePlus 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and runs on ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16. The Ace 6 uses a different variant of the same chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition, tailored for the Chinese market.
While the Ace 6 is currently limited to China, it is widely expected to launch globally under the name OnePlus 15R. Details about the international variant’s software are still pending.
Camera
With the OnePlus 15, the company ends its previous collaboration with Hasselblad and introduces Oppo’s Lumo Imaging System. The main camera still features a 50MP sensor, although the sensor size has been reduced from 1/1.4″ to 1/1.56″. It is accompanied by a 50MP telephoto lens with a 3.5x zoom at 85mm and a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 16mm focal length. The front camera is a 32MP unit.
The OnePlus Ace 6 offers a more basic rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP wide-angle lens and an 8MP ultrawide. A 16MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.
Battery and Pricing
The OnePlus 15 features a 7,300mAh battery, offering 120W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. The Ace 6 includes an even larger 7,800mAh battery but does not support wireless charging. It still offers 120W wired charging.

The OnePlus 15 goes on sale in China starting October 28. The base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at around $560. The 16GB/256GB variant costs about $600, while the 12GB/512GB version is priced at $645. A 16GB/512GB configuration is available for approximately $685, and the top-end 16GB/1TB model will cost around $755.
OnePlus has not yet confirmed the release date for the Ace 6.
