Samsung’s long-rumored tri-fold smartphone could finally make its debut this month. According to a report, the company is preparing to showcase the next-generation foldable at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2025 summit, which will be held in Gyeongju, South Korea, from October 31 to November 1.

The South Korean tech giant has already confirmed plans to launch a tri-fold device this year, but has yet to announce an official date. If the report proves accurate, the APEC summit will serve as the stage for Samsung’s[1] boldest foldable experiment yet.

While the company hasn’t finalized the product name, speculation points toward either Galaxy G Fold or Galaxy Z TriFold. Production is expected to remain limited, with Samsung reportedly planning to manufacture only 50,000 to 200,000 units during the initial phase.

Pricing is another key detail drawing attention. The tri-fold smartphone could debut at around $2,800, making it roughly $1,000 more expensive than the Galaxy Z Fold7 at launch. According to earlier reports[2], availability will also be selective, with early releases expected in China, South Korea, the United States, and the UAE.
