Fortnite has officially confirmed its long-rumoured crossover with The Simpsons. The event will take place on November 1, 2025, at 11 AM ET, and will likely kick off a brand-new mini-season inspired by Springfield’s iconic family.
Both @TheSimpsons and @Fortnite confirmed the collaboration through teaser posts on X.

The teaser video features Kang and Kodos flying over a destroyed cartoon battlefield, blasting Fortnite’s Fishstick with laser beams. They later tractor-beam Simpson-styled versions of Jonesy and Hope into their UFO.
Players have already spotted The Simpsons’ Treehouse northwest of Creepy Camps, hinting at in-game changes leading up to the event.
Fortnite Update Downtime Confirmed
Reliable Fortnite insider @ShiinaBR posted that Epic has teased the timing of the event and the next update, adding that players should expect a 5–6 hour downtime before the crossover goes live.

From Leaks to Confirmation
Rumours about the crossover first surfaced in June 2025, when leakers hinted that Fortnite Chapter 6 would feature a Simpsons-themed mini-season.
Last week, multiple leakers claimed the event would drop on November 1, a prediction now officially confirmed.
Earlier this month, TechJuice[7] covered a major leak revealing that a full Springfield map was in development. Leakers have shared details about new POIs, such as:
- The Simpsons’ House
- Springfield Nuclear Power Plant
- Moe’s Tavern
- Krusty Burger
- Lard Lad Donuts
- Kwik-E-Mart
- Springfield Elementary
- Krustyland
The map may temporarily replace the Battle Royale island or appear as a limited-time mode similar to Fortnite Reload.
What Can be Expected
While Epic Games hasn’t shared official details, leaks point to “character skins” for Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Ned Flanders, Moe, and Krusty, plus new mechanics like “dangerous donut rain”.
With both Epic and The Simpsons confirming the event, the crossover is shaping up to be one of Fortnite’s biggest and most nostalgic yet. The playerbase seems extremely hyped for the event and the update.
