Three family members have been found dead after a suspected triple murder in Co Louth, Ireland[1].
Gardaí were called to a house in Tallanstown this morning, where the bodies of two men and a woman were discovered. All three are believed to have suffered fatal injuries in a violent attack. A man has since been arrested and is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, which allows detention for up to 24 hours. Sources say he is also receiving medical attention.
The scene has been sealed off, with the State Pathologist’s Office and the Garda Technical Bureau notified. The victims’ bodies remain inside the property as forensic examinations continue.
